YLE technicians have begun a strike

The technicians of Finnish public broadcasting company YLE have begun a strike which will last till Friday. Today on Monday April, 6 at ten o'clock in the morning the maintenance service personnel has left workplaces in Vaasa, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Turku and Juväskylä.
The eployees are dissatisfied with a course of negotiations on the new collective labour agreement. Today's strike has been affected - among other reasons -with the fact that according to technicians, the employer operated in an improper way in connection with the strike which was taking place last week on Friday.
