On October 10th and 11th the Norwegian city of Vadsø is hosting the Сonference "Military Intelligence as a Democratic Blind Spot: Global, Regional and Local Perspectives". It’s a first in a series of events aimed opening up a public space for an informed debate on Northern Norway as a global hub for military intelligence in a political climate of increasingly polarized rhetoric and arms races in space and at sea.

On 15 – 16th March (Monday-Tuesday) the Association of development of the press and Institute of the regional press hold a seminar for journalists of Northwest region of Russia «Public interests and state regulation of the markets: intentions, results, consequences».


- Vladimir Klistorin, Doctor of Economics, professor of Institute of economy of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences
- Michael Morozov, the chairman of the Siberian Arbitration court
- Victor Jukechev, vice-president of Association of development of the press, director of Institute of development of the press-sibir
