The new head of Karelia Andrey Nelidov gets acquainted with the situation travelling round the republic. He is usually accompanied by a TV group from the administration's press service.

The head of Karelia personally interrogated each employee of the TV group involved in pruducing the story and the labor contract with one of them was terminated. The cameraman is considered a good professional and he found another job but the fact is that he was fired out from the group of the governor's information service.

The Web-site politika.karelia.ru published the story under the title «Am I the most beatiful of all?», the author did't show any surprise concerning methods of the governor 's work with journalists. The forum discussion was sharp and critical as to A.Nelidov.

Once the editor of the Web-site found a nickname "Andrey Nelidov" among the participants of the discussion. He introduced himself as the head of Karelia and gave his evaluation of the happening and even apologized to the cameraman for his intemperance. It was difficult to believe that the comment was written by the head of Karelia and in particular that he apologized in public. The editor managed to get A.Nelidov on the phone. To the editor's surprise he confirmed the fact of participation in the discussion concerning his manner of treating journalists and style of being the head of the republic. A.Nelidov told that he intended personally to respond to interesting publications of the Web-site. And really the nickname "Andrey Nelidov" soon again appeared in the forum, this time with comments on the discussion concerning items of forming the government.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that the cameraman got apologies of the head of Karelia on the Web-site politika.karelia.ru, the has'n got any invitation to renew the labor contract. And the victim strongly objected the Union of journalists of Karelia to defend him in any form and preferred to hush up the conflict.
