TV Festival Severny Character awards
Winners of the prizes of the third International festival of documentary films and television programs are announced. Swedish filmmaker Gunilla Bresky got the Grand Prix of the festival for the second time. Among the winners BPI active members: Alexander Pivkin (Komi TV) and Morten Ruud (NRK Finnmark-Troms).

“I was sitting quiet, thinking that it will not happen again”,-
said Gunilla Bresky getting the festival Grand Prix for the film Night Witches, Red Lips, Luleå, cameraman - Hilde Korsaeth, sound producer - Mikael Brodin.
In 2009 Gunilla also got the Grand Prix of TV Festival Severny Character for her documentary A Grey Blanket with Embroidered Flowers. This year her film was the only work which got unanimous approval of all eight jury members from four countries.
